Welcome to the weekend... time to wile away hours looking at our favourite magazines and blogs and daydream about amazing homes!
Now that's what you call indoor outdoor flow! An entertainer's dream...
You know what that grass needs? A couple of bean bag loungers to chill out on!
That gorgeous purple rug, the cool and contemporary art, the deep blue ottoman... so lush!
We also love the addition of the sculptural, modern Proteas - they're one of our favourite flowers to display and they just happen to be in season at the moment, too.
Chic, classic and calming - we just love this dining space. The table, and carved timber stools are both by Australian furniture designer Mark Tuckey. See the rest of the images at the always-inspiring Design Files blog.
Pared-down elegance, with a cool Scandinavian vibe. The sideboard was found in a vintage shop, then stained black... we love that idea!
Our favourite part of our own home is our quiet and cosy reading nook. (We have a bean bag chair in ours - they're oh-so-comfy to sink in to.) This reading corner is just gorgeous - we love the minimalist white and that super stylish reading lamp.
We're particularly fond of spaces that don't take themselves too seriously - and this living and dining room fits that bill. The playful art, the cheerfully mismatched cushions, the feature wall of exposed brick... there's so much personaity here.
Instead of completely redecorating, just re-arrange your existing furniture, and add a few indoor plants or cuttings and a scattering of cushions. Quick and effective!
