Cool Kid's Corners
We've just wrapped up one of our bright Papaya bean bag chairs like a newborn, and shipped it off to a mum who is redecorating her little boy's room. It's going to be used as a quiet corner seat for story time and TV time.
With that idea to inspire us, we went looking for cool n' colourful kid's rooms that we'd love to see our bean bags in!
You don't need lots of bright colour to make a room modern - textures and shapes do the job just as well.
Wall decals and cushions are two easy ways to add personality to a kid's space.
This stylish room will grow along with the wee girl who lives here. The bold black features (including the striped wallpaper, black bunting and painted vintage dresser) look great!
If you're looking for a flexible piece of furniture for your little one, an Ottoman is an awesome option - they can be used as a comfy chair, low table or even bedside table.
Adding non-permanent colour to walls is as easy as having a few fave picture books on display. Love that idea!
A chair for storytime is the perfect addition - perhaps our bean bag chair in 'Kiwi' green...
A colour palette of pinks and purples are feminine, but can also be quite grown up. The vintage bed, chunky knit ottoman and bold graphic rug all add up to a very modern little space!
Forget the kids, we'd like this room for ourselves - imagine having your own loft bed! There's lots of other great decorating ideas in this space - like the fairy lights for affordable, fun lighting, the vertical shelf to keep books and games tidy, and that gorgeous giant cushion to sink into.
For a bedroom that will grow along with them, opt for walls and furniture that are plain in colour and style. Use bed linen and wall art to change up the look of the bedroom through the years. A corner chair is not only a great space to sit, but doubles as a spot for a favourite toy or stack of special books. A bean bag chair would be a super comfy option!
