Interior Inspiration

Warning: these images may result in feelings of interiors envy! These gorgeous bedrooms and living spaces are just too good not to share...

This gorgeously casual bedroom does the 'just thrown together' look beautifully. We love the hewn timber side table, those almost-black floorboards, and that low ottoman - very similar to our designer beanbag ottomans (available in colours to match this palette, including sandy taupe and grey).

A black and white colour palette will always be on trend! Add patterns, graphic design elements and different textures for interest, and finish off with just one or two items of a different colour, to break up the monotone look. We'd love to see a hint of dusky pink (so on-trend at the mo!) in this space - perhaps a soft pink throw over the sofa, or one of our giant cushions on the floor in place of the ottomans...

Grey continues its run at the top of the interior designers colour charts. And we're now seeing grey not only in furniture and textiles, but also on walls! It's not for everyone, but we personally love the moody, sophisticated effect! Just be sure to match with plenty of clean lines and white elements to keep the space from being too dark. Grey walls also look gorgeous with on-trend pastel accents, like the soft peach/coral wall light in this room.

So much to love in this space! The table on castors (we'll never get sick of furniture on castor wheels), the gloss white painted floorboards (so very Scandinavian!), those contemporary-cool geometric cushions... and that amazing floor lamp - the iconic AJ Lamp by Arne Jacobsen.

Black is the new black - especially when paired against light grey and light timber.
That all black candle and candlestick is so swoon-worthy, as is the copper ornament by Tom Dixon! (Loving copper right now.)

Clean lines, bright and white, ashy floorboards, minimalist decor... this style is timeless. To keep this simple aesthetic from looking too clinical, here's a tip: add a little softness and texture with timber accents (like the wooden bowl in this space), fresh flowers and potted plants.
