Architectural Beauties

Enjoy this round-up of architectural beauties - from zen Japanese havens to bold beachfront homes...

This gorgeous home in Melbourne's Brunswick was designed by architects Black Line One X. We adore the openness and lightness of the space, the soft neutral interior design, and that unique undulating ceiling. (And we'd love to see a pair of our designer sun loungers out on that honey-hued wharf-decking patio!)

Located in a remote part of Northern California, this striking home was designed as the perfect getaway for its busy owners. Deep overhangs mean the couple can enjoy outdoor living year round, hanging out on their 70-foot long deck with its designer outdoor furniture and huge open fire! We love that they've chosen bright red for their bean bag chairs and bean bag ottoman - a punchy contrast to all that sophisticated slate grey.

One word sums up this home and garden: Zen. Located in Hamamatsu, its a superb showcase of the modern Japanese aesthetic - serene, well balanced, clean and uncluttered. There's a beautiful harmony here between the house and the tranquil garden, and we'd love to see one of our designer hammocks or new luxury sun loungers here.

This award-winning holiday home at Pekapeka beach, New Zealand was planned so that the living room (and outdoor living spaces)  would face both east to hills and west to the sea, for beautiful sunrises and stunning sunsets. All that deck needs now is a Lujo luxury hammock!

Lujo sun loungers and luxury hammocks
are the perfect complement to a beautifully designed home.
